Business Card Musings

So today I got my first set of business cards!! Yup! It's official...feel like a proper working lady :-p. Now this sense of belonging and foothold, has made me really think, I need to get using what I have. I work in research and it really is a growing industry in Pan Africa that has the potential to tap into every aspect of our lives. Now with budding entrepreneurs out there in the blogging world I really wonder, what is it that they would like to know?


The organisation I work for runs this program with high school kids, basically teaching them about research from idea to execution. The schools are encouraged to carry out projects on issues that are close to them, relatable; and schools battle out at provincial level to the nationals at the end of the year (which I got to attend). These kids have solved issues and found solutions to questions they have had. Past research topics ranged from bullying in schools to environmental issues. As a result of this research, some of the kids' schools have gone to the extent of implementing the recommendations yielded from the research and overall making school life that bit better.


If they can do it; how would you want research to help you? What issues or blurry areas are there in your life, career path etc. What questions would you like answers to? Anything; think about things closer to home?
